2014 Chamber Music Seminar and Festival | SF State
The annual free Yehudi Menuhin Chamber Music Seminar and Festival takes place at SF State from Thursday, February 13, 2014 – Sunday, February 16, 2014.
Free, but tickets are required.
This special event incorporates concerts and a seminar for ensembles of all ages, advancing the belief that music has the power to create understanding and transcend differences between people.
Concerts take place at the Creative Arts Building, Knuth Hall.

- Schubert (1797–1828): Rondo for Violin and Strings in A major, D. 438 (1816), performed by the Alexander String Quartet and Jackie Ross, violin solo
- Schubert: Piano Trio in E-flat major, D. 897 Notturno (1828), performed by Trio Consonare
- Bartók (1923–1945): String Quartet No. 4, Sz. 91 (1928), performed by NYX String Quartet

- Schubert: String Quintet in C major, D. 956 (1828), performed by Alexander String Quartet with David Requiro, cello
