Embark on an urban adventure with beer. Take a guided, educational loop-hike starting and ending at Kezar Bar.
Get started with a 4-mile loop from Kezar Bar to the top of Mount Sutro and back, using the Sutro Stewards trail system. Along the way we will learn some of the fascinating history of the mountain dating back to 1880, locate some rare native plants, take a tour of a Native Plant Nursery, and summit the city’s third-highest peak.
The Sutro Stewards will host the mid-way rest stop at the UCSF Community Center, and feature a complimentary sampling of beers from the Alaskan Brewing Company.
The brewery will be offering specials and pouring its flagship Amber, as well as its White Ale, Black IPA, Raspberry Wheat, multi-award winning Smoked Porter, and its brand-new Pilot Series Imperial Red Ale–a favorite of the Brew Crew.
One dollar of every Alaskan Beer consumed at this event will go directly to the Sutro Stewards non-profit.
