Event Details

San Francisco writer Angela S. Choi will discuss and read from her debut novel Hello Kitty Must Die, a work that rips into the stereotype of “Hello Kitties,” the stereotypically well-groomed, well-behaved Asian wife. A bio for Choi described her as “proficient in the art of profanity in both Cantonese and English.” So that sounds pretty good.

There will be a book signing after the programs and, thus, book for sale. But remember that you’ll be in a library and, last we checked, there were 11 copies of Hello Kitty Must Die in the SF Public Library system.
