KC Turner’s Songwriter Residency
Bazaar Cafe, Richmond District, SF
August 31, 2010

The Welcome Matt Matt has found the secret to truly personable songwriting. Evoking the Beatles circa Rubber Soul with a little Ray Davies and a little Cake as he drifts somewhere between Wilco’s Jeff Tweedy and Bob Dylan, mastering a sense of expert lyrical spacing and rasping dreamy opinion.

Avi Vinocur At 23 years old, Avi Vinocur’s folk music bleeds the love of classic novels and poetry that so enthrall the mind of this San Francisco based singer-songwriter. His songs draw comparisons to a young Bob Dylan or Paul Simon: maintaining elegant melodies with lyrics that stand alone as poems.
