AAA Tipsy Tow: Free Car Tow Home | Christmas Eve 2010

AAA’s Tipsy Tow Program offers a free tow for drinking drivers in Northern California – members and non-members – from 6pm on Christmas Eve (December 24, 2010) until 6am the next morning, in Northern California, Nevada and Utah.

For Tipsy Tow, call (800) 222-4357 (AAA-HELP) and tell the operator “I need a Tipsy Tow” for a free tow of up to five miles. Service is restricted to a one-way ride for the driver and his or her vehicle to the driver’s home.

AAA provides its Tipsy Tow service for the following holidays in 2010:

* Super Bowl: February 7, 6 p.m. to February 8, 6 a.m.
* St. Patrick’s Day: March 17, 6 p.m. to March 18, 6 a.m.
* Cinco de Mayo: May 5, 6 p.m. to May 6, 6 a.m.
* Memorial Day: May 31, 6 p.m. to June 1, 6 a.m.
* Independence Day: July 4, 6 p.m. to July 5, 6 a.m.
* Labor Day: September 6, 6 p.m. to September 7, 6 a.m.
* Halloween: October 31, 6 p.m. to November 1, 6 a.m.
* Thanksgiving: November 25, 6 p.m. to November 26, 6 a.m.
* Christmas Eve: December 24, 6 p.m. to December 25, 6 a.m.
* New Year’s Eve: December 31, 6 p.m. to January 1, 6 a.m.
