Soulful Rock & Retro R&B | “The City” Free Concert Night | SF

The City is coming to Blondie’s Bar & No Grill to bring you more free drinks, more free appetizers, and a free concert featuring soulful rock from Kingsborough, folk rock from Rin Tin Tiger, and swing jazz and retro R&B from The Cosmo Alleycats on June 27, 2013.

Free, but an RSVP is required.

RSVP and get free appetizers, plus a hosted Jack Daniels bar from 7-8 pm.

Kingsborough is determined to revive soulful rock. The band’s influences range from The Allman Brothers and Bill Withers to Rage Against the Machine and the Red Hot Chili Peppers, resulting in a beautiful hurricane of widely diverse original material. Armed with heart pounding rhythms, dazzling guitar solos and powerful vocal harmonies, this powerhouse five-piece is living proof that rock n’ roll is still alive and well.

Rin Tin Tiger is an alternative folk rock trio from San Francisco, CA. High energy, lyric heavy, acoustic guitar lead songs about life in contemporary society. The sound is often described as a blend between early Bob Dylan, Violent Femmes, and Tupac.

The Cosmo Alleycats are a 5-piece swing jazz and retro R&B band based in San Francisco, where they perform weekly at Le Colonial in Union Square. A professional, full-service band, the Cosmo Alleycats’ diverse repertoire is well-suited for all types of events, from weddings to corporate receptions to dance parties.
