Every San Franciscan needs costumes. We have them for Bay to Breakers, SantaCon, Brides of March, and just about any occasion, because face it, everyday is an excuse to wear a costume.
If you’re looking for some new looks, head to Costumaganza for a socializing preview from 6-9 pm at the Bus Stop Gallery (135 Dore Alley, unit C on the 2nd floor) on Friday, July 12, 2013.
Costumaganza Socializing Preview | July 12, 2013
- Complimetnary treats provided while they last
- Performances and storytelling when you least expect
- Music by Bad Unkl Sista & Goyo
They only have one rule: “You don’t have to buy a thing, but you must try things on in wild and wacky combinations and have fun.”
They’ll be selling originals, castoff treasures, men’s, women’s, dragadellica and custom costumes from Lady Bee, $teven Ra$pa, Randal Alan Smith, and Bad Unkl Sista. Grab goods from the $1 dollar bargain bin items to insanely eccentric and priceless originals, everything from couture gowns, bustles and tuxedos in many sizes to leather jackets, shoes and boots, hats and headpieces, novelties, ties, gorillas, bunnies, French maids, parade, ethnic, fetish, furry, glorious long coats, vintage jewelry and handbags, Victorian fancies, ’50s sundresses, theater props, and very odd ends, indeed.
Bad Unkl Sista will be offering retired costumes, personal clothing, make-over pieces, fabric and random props from past performances.
The sale will continue from 12-5 pm on Saturday, July 13. Everything must go.
