Second Fridays Art Walk | San Rafael

Discover art, wine, entertainment, and more every second Friday of the month on Fourth Street in downtown San Rafael.

From 5-8 pm (with some venues open later), the Second Fridays Art Walk connects dozens of venues in downtown San Rafael with the public, who can enjoy different art exhibits, open studios, live music, refreshments, and more every month.

(Almost) Midnight in Paris | Second Fridays Art Walk | San Rafael

Downtown San Rafael takes on a Parisian flair with street musicians, entertainment, artists and French-inspired food on Friday, October 11, 2013 from 5 -8 pm during the Second Fridays “(Almost) Midnight in Paris” art walk event.

Be sure to watch the poodle parade. Poodles will compete for “Best in Show “poo-la-la” (overall favorite pooch), “Best Canine Couture” (costumed), and Best “Parisian Pair” (pooch and human companion).

If you’d like your poodle, psuedo-poodles or costumed impersonator pup to strut it’s stuff, it’s $10 to register each dog with proceeds to benefit Guide Dogs for the Blind.

The parade check-in is at West America Bank at Fourth and D Street. There will be food trucks and music in the parking lot for everyone’s enjoyment.
