Get a taste of North Berkeley at the 8th Annual Spice of Life Festival.
This five-block long food and art fair celebrates the spice of life with cooking demos by local chefs, wine tasting and micro-brews, live music presented by the Berkeley Jazz School and Freight & Salvage Coffeehouse, artist exhibitions and an interactive nature sculpture project, yoga and bodywork demonstrations, an Ecology Center farmers market, an eco-themed puppet show and eco-carnival games, and lots of kids activities.
About 15 street food trucks and pop-up vendors shaking up the Bay Area culinary scene will join old-school food revolutionaries like the Cheeseboard collective and neighborhood restaurant favorites and chefs.
See here for for a full list of street food vendors, live musicians, participating restaurants and the chef stage line-up.
