Banned Books Week 2014
Banned Books Week is the national book community’s annual celebration of the freedom to read and takes place from September 21-27, 2014.
Hundreds of libraries and bookstores around the country draw attention to the problem of censorship by mounting displays of challenged books and hosting a variety of events.
Celebrate Banned Books Week at the Seven Trees branch of the San Jose library by taking a quiz for prizes, taking a free banned book mug shot (to take home), and checking out their Banned Books Week display.
Please note, this event is geared towards teens, so grab your little brother/sister/nephew/niece/daughter/son and join the fun.
