Peace Day Rally & Earthdance 2013

Massive political rally & festival at UN Plaza | Saturday

Thousands are expected to rally for Peace sponsored by Code Pink for the 2013 United Nations International Day of Peace on September 21, 2013.

From noon to 4 pm, various musicians and speakers address whistleblowers, drone warfare, mass incarceration, the industrial food complex and more.

Wavy Gravy, Diamond Dave and Valerie Ibarra emcee. Musical acts include Pamela Parker, Thunderground Collective, Camille Mai, Ashel Seasunz and the rising teen phenomenon, Ryan Cassata.

Earthdance is a world of communities, working and playing together to create a culture of peace, through music and dance events, synchronized global link-ups, and social activism. More than just an epic party, Earthdance is a flash forward to an alt peaceful future.
