Event Details

Oakland based artist Yosiell Lorenzo invites you to his debut San Francisco sculpture show, Into the Swamp, a glimpse of a world different from ours, and yet often mirroring our own preindustrial cultures.

You’re invited to view a small window into the lives of the Sicklings as they journey from their Somber Hollow home. Enjoy sculptures and shadow boxes of these fanciful creatures as they hunt and gather. The different tableaus provide an opportunity for each of us to be an anthropologist studying the world of the Sicklings.
