Sunkissed mid-’70s West Coast melodies are all over this second album and if there’s wisdom in the lyrics, there’s urgency and energy in the playing.

“It’s hard to put into words how much I love what I do,” says Lissie, summing up. “I’m just telling stories that most people can relate to, I think. I sing with full pain and joy, and it’s gratifying when people hunker down and get in there with me at shows.”
