You are invited to Higher Circle’s first annual Holiday Pie Contest where everyone who attends will get to sample pies and vote for the best one on Thursday, December 12, 2013.
Free, but an RSVP is required.
Three People’s Choice winners will be awarded prize ribbons and dazzling one-of-a-kind gifts from Fábrica Social (a Mexican fair trade design company that’s launching a crowdfunding campaign on the Higher Circle platform).
The event will take place on the third floor of The Port Offices (101 Broadway, Oakland).
Anyone can enter any kind of pie that they like into the contest (deadline: December 6, 2013): homemade pie, semi-homemade pie (store-bought crust OK), berry pie, cherry pie, pecan pie, apple pie, lemon pie, pumpkin pie, chocolate-peanut butter pie, vegan pie, savory pie, pie in the sky or any other sort of pie you can imagine.
