Come out for a special evening of poetry and support the cause to help Free Leonard at The Emerald Tablet in North Beach.

The evening marks the 38th anniversary of American Indian political prisoner Leonard Peltier’s unjust imprisonment. The evening will include poets Jack Hirschman, Anne Leonard, Kim Shuck (Goral/Tsalagi), Stephen Meadows (Ohlone), and Lucille Lang Day (Wampanoag).

No donations will be accepted; a petition letter for executive clemency will be made available. Luke Warm Water (Lakota) will MC the event and read Leonard’s poetry.

There is complimentary food and drinks by donation. Doors open at 6:30 pm doors; show starts at 7 pm.
