The Tenderloin has long been known as the “heart” of San Francisco. It is the last refuge for elderly, disabled and low-income working people striving to stay in the city. This area is perhaps the last frontier in SF’s ever-expanding gentrification trend. It has a high density population and has prominent issues with drugs.

At the same time, the film highlights how much love there is among the residents of this neighborhood and the people who work here in order to improve the life of the Tenderloin residents.
