This event is free, but it’s for a great cause so make sure to consider donating to sing for the cause before partaking in any freebies. Don’t just be a jerk and freeload.
FREE Bloody Marys, FREE Oysters, FREE Food, FREE Fun!
You LOVE to sing – you belt it out in in car, in the shower, and when you’re dancing around the house by yourself… Now it’s time to come out and sing for a great cause! We’re having our second annual AIDS Lifecycle Cutthroat Karaoke fundraiser at the Lucky Horseshoe in Bernal Heights! If you came last year, you know what a great time this will be – if you didn’t, now’s your chance to see KJ Kim Jong in action!
We have the Lucky Horseshoe from 2p – 7p on Sat, Mar 29th. It’s an intimate, friendly neighborhood place with a full bar, great beers on tap, and a pool table. You think that 2p is too early? Not to worry, we’ll have loads of FREE stuff to take the edge off:
1. FREE Bloody Mary Bar – all the fixin’s, including OYSTERS, until we run out…
2. FREE Food – including free popcorn and the ever-popular chili hot dog bar (that one’s for you, Mickey!)
3. FREE Vodka – from 2p – 3:30p, we’ll pay for the vodka going into your Bloody! What is Cutthroat Karaoke? You make a small, per-song donation to sing (or make your friend sing;), you make a medium donation to bribe the KJ to move your song towards the top of the queue, and you make a large donation to bang the gong and make someone STOP singing!
Please let us know you’re coming so we know how much food to get… If you do have to miss it:(, you still can donate on our individual fundraising pages:
