“Sunset” Massive Outdoor Dance Party
Drawing from the spirit of the Jamaican sound system culture, Sunset Sound System has produced over 150 free outdoor dance parties from the San Francisco Bay Area and beyond, and they’re celebrating 20 years of epic parties at the annual Season Opener at Stafford Lake in Novato from 11 am to 7 pm on Sunday, April 6, 2014.

Gate Fee & Donation: $5 per motorcycle/drop-off; $20 per car or truck; $60 per large van or similar; and $120 per bus (cash only).
Sunset DJs Galen, Solar and J-Bird will spin all day with an opening set by Mozhgan. Check out the Altar by Living Fae with Melanie & Anne, florals by Intrinsic, and sound by Opus
Food trucks Eat Fuki and Ultra Crepes will be on site.
Important Rules of the Park:
- No Dogs/Pets Allowed
- Do not pee in the bushes
- Smoke in the designated smoking section
- No underage drinking
- Keep lit BBQ off of the grass
Keep on partying at the Sunset After-Party at Monarch (101 6th Street, SF) from 8 pm to 2 am with DJs, dancing, and mingling.
