Lust for Justice author/artist Paulette Frankl and her subject Tony Serra will speak at this free book reading. Frankl examines some of Serra’s greatest political trials, as well as provides an unflinching examination of the man himself. The book and art from it will be available for purchase.

Serra is known for defending Black Panther leader Huey Newton and winning death penalty acquittals for Chol Soo Lee, Patrick “Hooty” Croy and Bear Lincoln. He successfully defended Earth First! activist Judi Bari in the biggest win ever against the FBI.
