New Century Chamber Orchestra‘s 2014-2015 season opens with “a marvelous blend of wit and dramatic immediacy” (SF Chronicle), Shchedrin’s Carmen Suite for strings and percussion, written for a balletic version of Bizet’s timeless opera. With internationally-renowned violin soloist Nadja Salerno-Sonnenberg at the helm, the orchestra has earned a reputation for its on-fire, electrifying performances.

Complimentary Korbel Champagne Toast at 7- 7:45 pm. Concert at 8 pm.
