The Bay Bridge has always played second fiddle to the Golden Gate Bridge. But that changed in 2013 when the Bay Bridge – thanks to 25,000 LED lights – finally got a chance to shine.

The story of how the Bay Lights project was born and all the technical and political obstacles that had to be overcome is the subject of this feature-length documentary “Impossible Light” which was an official section of the San Francisco Int’l Film Festival and had its world premiere at SXSW 2014.
