Tanya Holland, executive chef at Brown Sugar Kitchen and B-Side BBQ in Oakland, will be interviewed by Whole Foods Market Northern California’s local forager, Harv Singh, before an audience Q&A and book signing at Whole Foods in Oakland. Holland’s new book is Brown Sugar Kitchen: New-Style, Down-Home Recipes from Sweet West Oakland.

Come and meet the chef, ask some questions, eat some delicious samples, pick up a book and get it signed. Chef Holland is a host/expert on The Food Network’s “Melting Pot” series. She’s also appeared on the Today Show, Sara Moulton’s Cooking Live, and many others.
