Join the UC Berkeley Chamber Orchestra for a concert of Strauss II, Dvorak, and Beethoven!

The UC Berkeley Chamber Orchestra is a 40-member ensemble comprised of UCBSO members focusing on classical and early romantic symphonic repertoire and works for chamber orchestra. Now in its seventh year, the chamber orchestra has established a reputation as an exciting, tightly-knit ensemble led by the UCBSO’s assistant conductors, under the guidance of Maestro David Milnes.
Past conductors have included Garrett Wellenstein, Melissa Panlasigui, Alex Kahn, Hoh Chen, Henry Shin, and Gene Chang. Past programs have included Mendelssohn Symphony No. 4, Prokofiev Symphony No. 1, Beethoven Symphonies No. 2, 5 and 6, Wagner’s Siegfried Idyll, Stravinsky’s L’Histoire du Soldat and Pulcinella Suite, and Mozart Piano Concerto No. 23, with a special appearance by Professor Karen Rosenak. Join us this season for our May concert.
