Australian duo The Black Ryder brings their sublime shoegazing sounds to the Amoeba SF stage for a live set and signing. Get their new album The Door Behind the Door (out now on The Anti-Machine Machine, available on CD & LP) and get it signed.

The Black Ryder is a collaboration between Australian songwriting duo Aimee Nash and Scott Von Ryper, who are now based in Los Angeles. Their debut album, Buy The Ticket, Take the Ride (2010), made Rolling Stone Magazine Australia’s Top Albums of the Year list. The much anticipated follow-up, The Door Behind the Door, transforms The Black Ryder’s kaleidoscopic sound and vision into something even more vivid, uncompromising, and sublime, bringing in new textures, emotions, and moments of catharsis and transcendence.

To date, the band has played with Primal Scream, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, The Brian Jonestown Massacre, Broken Social Scene, The Cult, The Black Angels, The Raveonettes, The Charlatans, and many more.
