Event Details

This free class is an orientation to help newcomers, recent design school graduates, and anyone who wants to learn more about the local design community get acquainted with the exciting world of design in San Francisco.

Attendees will learn more about Huge and its approach to design in addition to learning about great resources, tips for interviewing and portfolio presentation, and events in the SF area.

About the Speakers:

Chad Tafolla, Creative Director, Huge
Chad Tafolla is Creative Director at Huge in Oakland, where he leads the design team and pushes the boundaries of engagement and interactive storytelling. Chad has more than 12 years of experience developing creative strategy and designing solutions for applications, websites, digital installations and environmental brand experiences for a variety of clients. Prior to joining Huge, he was a Creative Director at Firstborn in New York, where he led teams of designers, animators and 3D artists for clients including Pepsi, Disney, HBO, Mountain Dew and TiVo. Throughout his career, Chad’s strong passion for the digital medium has led him to work with teams across the country in New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Seattle and Denver. He finds that his best work happens at the intersection of design and technology.

Jennie Perri, Product Design Lead, Huge
Jennie is a Product Design Lead at Huge where she has helped lead successful projects for a variety of clients including HBO. After joining Huge in 2012, Jennie spent 3 years at the agency’s Brooklyn office, where she helped lead multiple initiatives including Huge’s UX School in 2013 before relocating to San Francisco. She received her undergraduate degree in Advertising and Design at the University of Miami, and currently serves as an academic advisor to the University of Miami MFA Interactive Media program. As a child, she maintained pet alligators.
