Awesöme Orchestra
Awesöme Orchestra will perform at the Oakland Public Library as part of National Night Out, fighting crime and making some awesöme music while they’re at it at this free concert in an outdoor courtyard.
The Awesöme Orchestra Collective is the Bay Area’s most adventurous reading orchestra, dedicated to playing excellent orchestral music of all kinds with amazing musicians in a fun, casual environment focused on high musicianship.

FREEThey’ll be in their outdoor courtyard on Madison Ave. between 13th and 14th street. Limited street parking is available, but it’s located within walking distance from 19th St. and Lake Merritt BART stations). Bring layers.

Want to play? All you have to do is bring a music stand. They’ll have chairs, sheet music and water for all players (it’s a dry location/event this time, but feel free join them at Mad Oak cocktail bar afterward to celebrate). They have extra lighting, but please bring a battery-powered stand light if you have one.
