Event Details

Ride along with Greenbelt Alliance and the Silicon Valley Bicycle Coalition through San Jose’s most well-known landscape, Coyote Valley.

Delight in the beauty of the natural valley (as opposed to Silicon) as you bike some of the city’s best bike paths. Coyote Valley is a critical habitat for wildlife, groundwater, and agricultural resources that is constantly threatened by sprawl development pressure. They’ll also swing by the latest addition to the protected landscape, the Coyote Valley Preserve where the Santa Clara Open Space Authority is holding a celebratory Coyote Valley Family Harvest Feast.

The route will also take you on the rural roads of south San Jose’s neighborhoods, San Martin and north Morgan Hill. Hear from experts about how the City and County plan to both grow across and conserve the landscape in the coming decades
