Submitted by the Event Organizer
“Fire & Ice” is a free seminar on romance and diamonds for men who feel like a deer caught in the headlights when it comes to buying jewelry and don’t have anyone to show them the ropes.
Love Coach, Joy Nordenstrom and Simayof Jeweler’s Ambassador and Diamond Consultant, Irv Spivak will impart uncensored dating advice and school you on how (and when) to get the best sparkily present for your special lady or dude. They promise it will be informative and won’t just be a big long sales pitch.

Where: Simayof, 295 Geary St. corner of Powell, lower level, San Francisco, CA 94102

Why: Because our Fathers have let us down when it comes to this most important topic
How much? FREE

Why is this event on FuncheapSF? – a note from Johnny Funcheap
I had to think long and hard about whether to include this on the funcheap site – first of all it’s free and it’s right around valentine’s day – also i’ve been to Simayof before (i got my ring sized, but didn’t buy anything) and the two people i dealt with there were not into a big sales pitch and i found to be very laid back and helpful, so i’m inclined to believe them when they say this is an informative workshop for men and not a sales pitch.
so it certainly “could” turn out to be super high sales pressure event rather than a helpful lecture for guys on dating and buying presents, but given my personal experience at the store i thought it was worth the chance to post it with the caveat about them saying it’s not a sales pitch so that men could make their own decision about whether to attend or not.
