Awesöme Orchestra | Epic Free Classical Concerts
Awesöme Orchestra brings people together for musical adventures. Their free sessions are part performance, part open rehearsal. They provide the sheet music, and anyone is welcome to play or to listen.
The Awesöme Orchestra Collective is the Bay Area’s most adventurous reading orchestra, dedicated to playing excellent orchestral music of all kinds with amazing musicians in a fun, casual environment focused on high musicianship. Their events are always free, but they ask for a pay-what-you-will donation to help cover basic costs.
The program this Sunday, October 18, 2015 includes:
- Joon-Suc Yu – Waltz No. 2 (premiere performance)
- Green Day (arr. Brian Adam McCune) – “Emenius Sleepus” and “F.O.D.”
- Ottorino Respighi – Pines Of Rome
