Amoeba Music: Free In-Store Mini Concerts

Join Amoeba San Francisco for an otherworldly evening of Theremin appreciation with Theremin virtuoso Dorit Chrysler. She will hold a one-hour Adult Theremin Workshop, Kid Cool Theremin School, at 5pm on the Amoeba stage. No previous experience required. Sign up now at the Amoeba SF info desk as space is limited. At 6:30pm, Chrysler performs live. Prepare to be amazed.

Kid Cool Theremin School – 5pm on the Amoeba Stage
In the one-hour Adult Theremin Workshop, participants will be introduced to the technical and practical aspects of the Theremin – an electronic musical instrument that is controlled by the relative position of the player’s hands. Participants will be able to learn and practice the basics of playing the theremin, practicing in small groups and working towards repertoire.
