Event Details

Founder of the Harvey Milk Institute and co-founder of Queer Nation, Jonathan D. Katz will discuss the impact of the Aids epidemic in the intersectional contexts of art history and queer history. He recently received the 2015 Jane Green Endowment for Studies in Art History and Criticism speaker, and is the Director of the Visual Studies Doctoral Program, University of Buffalo (SUNY).

In 2010, he co-curated Hide/Seek: Difference and Desire in American Portraiture, and is co-curating Art AIDS America, which opens this October.
