Event Details

Local band Whiskerman will be performing as part of a free art installation called In the Forest in Solano’s Art Thou Gallery, a terrific space that was once was the back-stage area of a theater, with 50ft ceilings and acoustics like a cathedral.

In the Forest is an interactive installation made like no other, featuring an assemblage of 2D and 3D sculptures suspended above the gallery floor.

You will be able to shift the configuration of the sculptures on the suspended tracks, altering, images, video, audio recordings, even add “live” sound to the installation by voicing into amplification tubes extending from above.

There’s free food, beverages and live music from Whiskerman (Formerly Graham Patzner and the Help) and Foxtails Brigade, who just released their new album The Bread and the Bait.

Created by East Bay artists Andreina Davila, Claire Tompkins, Chrysta Giffen, Drew Dara Abrams, Kaitlin McSweeney and Susie Davy—all of which have affordable art for sale in the back room.
