Joyce Carol Oates is a towering figure in American literature—author of more than 100 books including the national bestsellers Blonde, Black Water, and The Gravedigger’s Daughter. She is the recipient of numerous awards, including lifetime achievement awards from the National Book Critics Circle and the Horror Writers Association, as well as the PEN/Malamud Award for Lifetime Achievement in the Short Story. She is a winner (as well as a six-time finalist) of the National Book Award and a three-time finalist for the Pulitzer Prize.

She will be interviewed by Michael Krasny. There will be a book-signing afterward.
