Awesöme Orchestra | Epic Free Classical Concerts
Awesöme Orchestra brings people together for musical adventures. Their free sessions are part performance, part open rehearsal. They provide the sheet music, and anyone is welcome to play or to listen.
The Awesöme Orchestra Collective is the Bay Area’s most adventurous reading orchestra, dedicated to playing excellent orchestral music of all kinds with amazing musicians in a fun, casual environment focused on high musicianship. Their events are always free, but they ask for a pay-what-you-will donation to help cover basic costs.
On December 12, Awesöme Orchestra is doing a big fat benefit concert at American Steel Studios in West Oakland. They picked out the pieces they had the most fun playing throughout the year, and they’re doing as many of them as they can.
Free, but tickets are available for a name-your-price donation. Standing room tickets will also be available at the door, and no one will be turned away for lack of funds.

- John Williams – Star Wars Suite
