Free Hot Dog Day | Inner Richmond
Sadly, the Frankenart Mart closed in February 2016 after 10 fun years.
The Frankenart Mart is a quirky “only in San Francisco” type of art gallery in the Inner Richmond. Not only do they have curious one-of-a-kind participatory art projects, but once a month there’s free hot dogs. Cat hair toppings are available.
Keep in mind, this is a teeny tiny (250 sq. feet) art gallery. So if you’re interested in strange and wonderful little art projects, this is a fun place to spend part of your Sunday and munch on a free dog.
The Frankenart Mart experiment is coming to an end. Come enjoy one final unoffical “free hot dog day” on February 28, 2016.
As for the art, everything must go! Come get dirt cheap art, art supplies, random crap, hot dog paraphernalia, frankenart memorabilia, total trash. We’ve got it all and it’s priced to move. We’ll be serving hot dogs often because we need to get rid of them too.
The hot dogs are, of course, while supplies last – so come early, grab a dog and then buy a piece of fun art on the cheap to give it a loving home.
