Performer Bios
- Josh Brekhus is a comedian/writer/performer living in LA. After graduating from Arizona State University, Josh began to dabble in stand-up, winning a “Live at Gotham” contest, where he had the privilege of opening for Louis C.K. In 2010, he moved to LA and began his formal comedic training at the UCB Theatre.
- Danny Cohen is a writer/performer and proud product of the Washington, DC Public School System. After graduating from the University of Michigan in 2008 without ever attending a football game, he moved out to Sunny Los Angeles and began taking classes at UCB in 2009 in Gloomy Los Angeles. You may know Danny from his one-man improvised concert Danny Cohen’s Greatest Hits or Minutia, the funny satirical magazine he runs. He’s also written web commercials, videos and theme park attractions.
- Beth Lepley is a writer and performer from Annapolis, Maryland. She studied theater at Chapman University and then moved to Los Angeles to attend the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. Her credits range from feature films to music videos, as well as sketch videos for Typecast, Funny Or Die and various PRESTIGIOUS YouTube channels.
- Ali Ghandour is an actor and writer from Azusa, CA who can be seen performing weekly with UCB Harold team The Dragons. After graduating from UCLA, Ali ran headfirst into the world of improv and sketch, carving out a spot on the mainstage at Ultimate Improv in Westwood and performing weekly in the iO West X-Ecution. Ali and some buds also founded the film/improv team The Wait List where he’s written, produced, and acted in tons of sketches and short films for folks like The Laugh Factory and MTV. Their original series ‘Teenage Mountain Lion’ premiered on Hulu in 2014 and Ali is still trying to convince his dad that his character really picks up around episode 4.
