OK, it’s kind of a gimmick for leap year, but we like it. On a very few select routes, you can fly as cheap as $29 one way, but you have to travel on February 29th. Our good friends at The Flight Deal found this offer.

Travel only on February 29, 2016. All taxes are included.
- SFO to JFK
- SFO to Fort Lauderdale
- San Jose to JFK
The fine print should be obvious. It’s only for travel on 2/29/16 (so unless you’re planning on coming home right away, you’ll have to buy a normal fare to get back to SF), and there may be baggage fees.
Travel must be booked by 8:59pm PST on 2/2/16 (or while seats last). Book as soon as possible; fares like this don’t last long.
