“National Night Out” Block Parties
Combat crime while meeting some new neighbors at the 33nd Annual National Night Out, a crime prevention event sponsored by the National Association of Town Watch in various cities around the Bay Area on Tuesday, August 2, 2016.
Neighborhoods host big block parties featuring cookouts, visits from local police and the sheriff, flashlight walks, contests and more, all with the intention of strengthening neighborhood spirit and sending the message that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back.
Ask your neighbors and check out your city website to find a party, or start building community yourself and host your very own party. Once you register, you’ll receive the NNO Organizational Kit filled with “how-to” materials.
National Night Out is all about strengthening your immediate community, so we encourage you to ask your neighbors and check out your city website to find a party.
No parties in your town? Start building community yourself and host your very own party. Once you register, you’ll receive the NNO Organizational Kit filled with “how-to” materials.
