The San Mateo County Fair boasts a stunning variety of musical entertainment, performances, festival foods, local and traditional contests as well as a carnival. The fair lasts nine days and is attended by 150,000 guests. Some of the new features include the development of the “Useable Futures” pavilion dedicated to Sustainable Living and New Technologies and are dedicated to running a more sustainable event through greening initiatives.
On Friday, June 17th, the musical entertainment is Grand Funk Railroad, so you’ll be hearing all that cowbell in “We’re an American Band.” The show is free with admission to the fair. The fair is open from 11 am to 10 pm. Concert Doors Open at 6:30pm. Concert will begin at 7:30pm. Seating is limited.
