It’s an even year, so of course the Giants are in the playoffs.
In a show of civic pride, City Hall, Coit Tower and SFO, along with a number of civic and landmark buildings in San Francisco, will be lit in orange throughout the playoff run.
The Giants will face the New York Mets in New York on Wednesday evening for a one-game Wild Card playoff and the chance to advance to the National League Divisional Series against the Chicago Cubs.
There’s something magical about these even years. Coit Tower in orange tonight! Go Giants! #SFGiants #BeliEVEN #DontStopBelieving pic.twitter.com/b9MyDJibbc
