Event Details

For over twenty years, Robin Grossinger has been developing innovative strategies to keep the San Francisco bay – and us – from going down through his work at the San Francisco Estuary Institute, where he co-directs SFEI’s Resilient Landscapes program, leading efforts throughout the state to create healthier and more adaptive neighborhoods, cities, and surrounding landscapes.

In this conversation with Dean Malcolm Young, he will describe his work, featured on NPR, KQED and the Oakland Museum of California, to synthesize history and science to help us appreciate both the dramatic transformation and the impressive resilience of California’s landscapes.
