Secession Art & Design invites you on Saturday, December 3, 2016, 2-6 pm for live painting with Joshua Coffy. On display at the gallery and online are several of his original animal paintings. Plus there will be free art hidden around Mission Bernal.

Joshua has a way of capturing the soul and protective qualities of the natural world. Each animal watches over you and your home. Collaged paper in the background gives these thoughtful paintings texture.

The holidays are almost here, so Joshua will bring his affordable calendars and paper and wood prints. What will you gift? I was inspired to invite him to do this one-day event because of a project he started called “The Gift Prolific,” where he places free prints around a neighborhood for people to find and keep.

Art Scavenger Hunt: For Saturday, Josh will be hiding a few prints around the Mission/Bernal neighborhood for you to discover. We will post clues on Instagram and Facebook.
