Free String Quartet Concert: The Hurd Ensemble | SF

CMC faculty member Elyse Weakley and members of the Hurd Ensemble present a program of original music by composer George Hurd. The Hurd Ensemble unifies the worlds of electronic and classical music. All pieces are written for string quartet (violin, viola, cello, upright bass), piano and electronics, meticulously bound together with digitally arranged sounds collected from Hurd’s travels.
