Check out some capsized crafts while climbing the cliffs at Lands End on the Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy’s “Shipwrecks at the Golden Gate” hiking tour on Saturday, August 6.
Follow docent Rich Harned on this moderately strenuous hike to see some of the ships that have sunk on the rocky coast and spend an hour learning all about these crafts, vessels and boats.
All ages are welcome on this family-friendly hike that will meet at the USS San Francisco Memorial Parking Lot on El Camino del Mar at 11 a.m., though reservations by phoning (415) 561-4323 ahead of time are required.
