Event Details

Explore an exhibit about birds, bombs and “Big Questions” at the Anders Nilsen’s art show at Needles and Pens on Tuesday July 26.

On tour to promote his new 600+ page collection, “Big Questions,” which chronicles the tension between a group of birds after discovering a stranded pilot with an unexploded bomb, this postmodern fable is 10 years in the making and exhibits Nilsen’s work as one of the “most talented young cartoonists working today.”

In addition to exhibiting his magnum opus, Nilsen will also be signing and putting up some original pieces in the Needles & Pins gallery, demonstrating his distinctive linework and use of frameless panels, as well as his ability to portray everything from humor to heartbreak in his haunting, new masterwork.

Needles & Pens (3253 16th Street, SF) | Tuesday, July 26 | 7-9:30p | FREE
