Bay Area’s Newest Water Park: Grand Opening | Dublin

The City of Dublin is proud to bring you The Wave, it’s newest and most exciting community facility. Come spend the day at the awaited grand opening on Saturday, May 27, 2017.

The Wave is a 31,000-square foot state-of-the-art aquatics facility anchored by a natatorium (indoor pool), outdoor sports pool, waterslide tower, and splash zone with water play features.

The Aquatic Complex has been named The Wave and includes:

• Natatorium (indoor pool) with six 25-yard lap lanes and three teaching bays. This facility is a one-of-a kind facility. Its unique wave designed steel structure roof is one of only three that have built in the world. The year-round pool will be used for lap swimming, water walking and swim lessons.
• Outdoor sport pool for swim team and water polo (eight 25-yard lap lanes for competition and three warm-up lanes).
• Splash Zone, an outdoor boardwalk-themed water playground with a beach-style entry and interactive spray features, as well as a tipping bucket that drops water from above every five minutes.
• 48-foot tall slide tower with six thrilling waterslides, including a near-vertical drop for guests 40 inches and taller.
• Group picnic areas and three shade cabanas.
• Community Room, available for rental for parties and meetings.
• Over seven acres of park amenities including an outdoor amphitheater with lawn seating and a large plaza for events (including Dublin’s seasonal Farmers’ Market), and featuring new public art.

Full day admission for non-resident adults is $17 and they offer discounted afternoon admission from 3 – 6 pm for $13 for non-residents.

If you live in the City of Dublin you’re in luck – you’ll get $2 off admission. Some form of identification showing a Dublin address must be presented when purchasing tickets
