Event Details

Come for a free work-in-progress screening and discussion with award-winning filmmakers Carrie Lozano and Charlotte Lagarde at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts on Thursday, September 8.

Their latest film is about jazz legend and AIDS activist Fred Hersch, who spent two months in an AIDS-related coma, as well as his vivid coma dreams and determination to survive.

Both filmmakers will be at the screening to discuss the film clips, so RSVP in advance to get a special sneak preview of this documentary and learn something about this jazz great who continues to educate and bring awareness to AIDS.
