Our curiosity is sparked as to who will be rejoicing the most at this “Friends of the Urban Forest” celebration: the park? or the “friends”?
“FUF-tival” will be a festival style party hosted in Presidio Park in honor of the Friends of the Urban Forrest 30th Anniversary on Saturday, September 17. The event is free and open to the public, so you can hear singer-songwriter Alexis Harte as you check out a FUF exhibit celebrating three decades of tree planting.
Only members of FUF will receive free food and drink vouchers, 10 minute massages, caricature art, face paintings and a bouncy house. However, befriend the organization by becoming a member for $30 at this event and indulge on the feel good nature of the organization and the free goodies of the day.
