Event Details

Poets will read on the topic of food in a special pre-Thanksgiving event hosted by Sacred Grounds Coffee House. Food and money donations for the San Francisco Food Bank will be gathered here, so pick up a few extra goodies to bring to the reading.

This event is part of a series of benefits for food banks across the country inspired by the recently published anthology Broken Circles: A Gathering of Poems for Hunger. The idea behind the book was to call attention to the issue of hunger in America.
