The San Francisco Giants are conducting an exercise that will test their plans for an evacuation at the ballpark. They are actively seeking volunteers for this exercise.
The exercise will be held at AT&T Park on February 10, 2018, following the KNBR 680/Giants FanFest and will begin at 3:30 pm and last approximately 2 hours.
As a volunteer you will receive:
- A San Francisco Giants branded gift
- Special entry to the KNBR 680/Giants Fan Fest
- Participate in an exciting exercise to test the evacuation plan for AT&T Park in order to ensure we are prepared for an emergency event
Registration is from noon until 3:15 pm at the 2nd and King entrance only. All volunteers will go through the screening process (magnetometer and bag check). As a volunteer you are welcome to participate in the KNBR 680/Giants FanFest activities until the exercise begins. Only those who are registered prior to the exercise will be allowed to stay on site after the KNBR 680/Giants FanFest. Please bring a printed copy or an electronic version of your Eventbrite ticket.
Volunteer FAQ:
- Wear comfortable clothing that you don’t mind getting a little dirty
- Only bring what you need to sustain for the 2 hour event; hard sided coolers and bags larger than 16″ x 16″ x 8″ are not permitted into the ballpark
- You’ll have to stay for the entire 2-hour exercise
